美國德克薩斯大學教授🫶🏽，University of Georgia管理科學與信息技術博士🤛🏽，香港中文大學碩士😅。研究領域包括：多準則決策🌎，特別是多目標規劃👳🏻‍♂️、網絡優化👜、組合優化☑️，特別是啟發式求解、數學規劃方法用於回歸、判別與聚類分析、大數據分析等😵‍💫。

在Management Science, Operations Research, INFORMS Journal on Computing, Transportation Science, Decision Sciences, European Journal of Operational Research, Annals of Operations Research等國際頂級期刊上發表論文數十篇🌛。

獲獎包括Decision Sciences Institute Elwood S. Buffa Doctoral Dissertation Competition Award, Decision Sciences Institute Best Theoretical/ Empirical Research Paper Award以及德克薩斯大學System Chancellor’s Council Outstanding Teaching Award。

演講內容簡介🧑🏽‍🎨：

Technical writing in English is perceived to be difficult especially by non-English speakers. However, the difficult parts are the research behind the article and the structure and organization of the article rather than the language. Technical articles supported by solid research can always be published. Motivations for research and technical writing are discussed. The structure and organization of a technical article are emphasized. The major sections in a technical paper are outlined. Cautions and caveats are mentioned. Some techniques in word processing are also presented.
