演講人簡介：

李裕火教授現任新加坡國立大學工業系統工程與管理系副教授，副系主任🧑🏼‍🎄，曾任美國喬治梅森大學訪問教授🚽📼；1992年獲臺灣大學電氣工程學士學位，1994年🧚🏿‍♀️、1997年分獲哈佛大學碩士、博士學位🫠；IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control🧀、IIE Transactions🤷🏼‍♀️、IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering等國際期刊副主編以及其它多個國際期刊編委✶。主要研究領域：仿真優化、港口航運物流。著有"Stochastic Simulation Optimization: An Optimal Computing Budget Allocation"等兩部專著，在本領域重要國際期刊論文80多篇。

演講內容簡介：

The evolving information technology has enabled data analytics to become an accessible tool for industries and business companies to analyze historical information and make inference on the market trend and predict customer behaviors. In addition to the basic statistical inference, various technologies of machine learning and artificial intelligence as in the field of computing science are developed to analyze the big-data from the reality in order to identify the underlying relationships between decision making and a resulted system performance. Biquitous sensing, pervasive computing, and unprecedented systems interconnectivity have ushered in the new era of industrialization (Industrial 4.0). We explore the challenge and opportunity for smart analytics Industrial 4.0in and present some of our promising approaches.
